To book moving services, customers must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding the move, including details about the origin and destination locations, the nature and quantity of items to be moved, and any special requirements. All bookings are subject to availability. We require a deposit or full payment prior to confirming the booking, depending on the nature of the move.

4. Payment Terms

We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Payment must be made in full before the moving date unless otherwise agreed. If a payment is not received in time, we may cancel or reschedule the move. Additional fees may apply if the scope of the move changes after booking.

5. Customer Responsibilities

As the customer, you are responsible for ensuring the following:

  • Providing accurate information about the move, including the number of items and any special handling requirements.
  • Ensuring that all items to be moved are packed properly before the move. Windermere Movers is not liable for any damages to improperly packed items.
  • Disclosing any restricted items (e.g., hazardous materials, flammable goods, perishable items) that cannot be moved.
  • Ensuring clear access to the pick-up and drop-off locations for the movers and moving trucks.

6. Movers’ Responsibilities

Our movers will:

  • Handle your items with care and in accordance with industry standards.
  • Provide moving services as agreed, including loading, transporting, and unloading items.
  • Adhere to agreed timelines, although we are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as weather or traffic.

7. Delivery and Timing

While we strive to adhere to the scheduled timeline, delivery dates and times are not guaranteed and may vary due to factors like road conditions, traffic, and the complexity of the move. We will inform you of any significant delays or changes as soon as possible. You agree that Windermere Movers is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by delays.

8. Insurance and Liability

Windermere Movers provides basic liability coverage for goods moved. However, this coverage may not fully protect valuable items. We recommend that you obtain additional insurance for high-value items (e.g., electronics, antiques, artwork). You can contact your insurance provider or ask us about options for additional coverage. Windermere Movers is not responsible for damages to items that were improperly packed, or for damages caused by natural disasters, theft, or mishandling during transit if those items were left outside of our control.

9. Damages and Claims

If any of your belongings are damaged during the move, please notify us immediately upon delivery and filing a claim. We will investigate and resolve the claim in accordance with our insurance policies. Claims for damage must be submitted within [7-10] business days from the completion of the move.

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your move by providing us with at least [48 hours] notice prior to the scheduled moving date. 14. Limitation of Liability

Windermere Movers will not be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the moving process. Our liability is limited to the value of the items moved, as per the terms of our insurance coverage.
